If someone doesn't want help, then there's not much you can do.
You might consider listening to them and empathizing. Every so often, I would throw in... "Boy, a professional might be able to help you." or "I'm concerned about how you're feeling. I'm wondering if there's someone who might be able to help you."
They might be refusing YOUR help or what you define as help... perhaps they can come up with a solution on their own.
You might also talk about how their BEHAVIOR is affecting your relationship. Don't talk about them as a whole person... just their behaviors.
