I just answered a similar question. I am posting a link with tons of information on swine flu, specifically in Maryland, but the preparation and ways to stay informed and safe are same, merely the people you will consult should you issues be different. I hope this helps http://www.umd.edu/umnews/h1n1fall09.cfm
Thanks

The symptoms of the swine flu are very similar to those of the common flu, such as fever, body ache, a sore throat, a runny or stuffy nose and cough. Some also suffer from diarrhea and vomiting, which seems to be more common symptoms for those suffering from swine flu than those sick with common flu, according to these medical sources, which you can turn to for more information: WebMD: http://www.webmd.com/cold-and-flu/flu-guide/swine-flu-faq-1

Sir The symptoms of swine flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.
Signs requiring emergent treatment in adults may be
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen, sudden dizziness, confusion and severe or persistent vomiting.
Severe symptoms in children could be
Fast breathing or trouble breathing, bluish skin color, not drinking enough fluids, not waking up or not interacting, being so irritable that the child does not want to be held, flu-like symptoms which improve but then return with fever and worse cough, and fever with a rash.
Ther could be other symptoms and signs also but these are the usual ones
