Nope, no cocaine in Red Bull. Cocaine was used in Coca Cola when it first came on the market in 1886. It was used for medicinal purposes and sold over the counter in pharmacies.

Okay, I take it back. Slight traces of cocaine were found in Germany in Red Bull Cola: http://www.walletpop.com/article/_a/bbdp/cocaine-test-prompts-red-bull-removal-in/498522?icid=main|main|dl3|link5|http%3A%2F%2Fwww.walletpop.com%2Farticle%2F_a%2Fbbdp%2Fcocaine-test-prompts-red-bull-removal-in%2F498522

It's true. There was a trace amount of cocaine found in some cans of RedBull (.4 micrograms per liter). However, Germany's Federal Institute for Risk Assessment said that it was too low an amount to cause any health risks.
