The reality might be that you're nervous... period. Perhaps in the silence you start to ruminate on the difficulty of the class and what that means to you.

Let's face it... you're in your hardest class and seem to be invoking the "fight, flight or freeze" response (aka anxiety). Your body is preparing itself to do one of those three things. Although your logical minds knows there's nothing frightening, your Amygdula is reacting.

This is a great opportunity for you to learn how to relax and let go of the stress.
