Is there a way to tell if you have fever without a thermometer?

Not accurately. If you have a high fever, you will more likely feel cold but your body will feel hot to others. When my children have had high fevers, their whole body is hot/warm to the touch. If you have no other symptoms, you can take a cool shower and see if that helps. You could also see if your neighbor has a thermometer. If you do have a fever, it is VERY important that you stay hydrated. Regardless of any other symptoms, dehydration from a fever will put you in the hospital/in a life threatening situation fast.
