Is it good to do full-body workouts?

Fully body workouts vs. Targeted areas? Tim Ferris says full-body workouts produce more growth hormones, but I've heard that targeting certain areas is better.

Unfortunately, there's not much science on this subject. The stuff that is out there is reallyt hard to find.

A lot depends on your goals. If you want certain muscles to be big, or if you want an overall increase in muscle mass.

I personally like the idea of full body workouts more, for a few reasons. One, you are using the smaller muscle groups, which you may ignore if you are targeting areas. Two, it keeps things dynamic and interesting so I get bored less.

Something else to keep in mind is what system you like best. If you are somebody who loves lifting weights or doing crunches, and you prefer doing the same routine every day, then targeted training may be easier for you to do.

But if you are the kind of person who needs variety and dynamics in your workout, doing a full-body workout might be easier for you to stick with.

Even if one method is better than the other, if you are not working out, you are not getting benefits.

I'd suggest expirmenting with both approaches and see which one works best for you, and which one gives you best results. No reason to stick with one thing forever, after all.

Great, thanks a lot - that's an interesting way to look at it, because you're saying it's more important to find what's effective for YOU in terms of what you're going to do well.

When one does full body workouts such as Obama does while doing Dybutt, it allows one to causes one to produce more Lactic Acid which lowers the pH in one's body. As this occurs the hormone GH is released naturally in the body. This hormone causes the body to build lean muscle mass & also to burn fat quicker than any other program. Dybutt also makes the areas of the body that become feeble as we age stronger & more explosive. Dybutt also permits one to get a cardiovascular & a muscle toning/building workout simultaneouslly. Dybutt also improves the coordination of it's participants because of multitasking movements used in the program. Dybutt is also very safe of ones' joints & connective tissue because it is a uses very low impact movements that are joint friendly but are muscle intensive for the safest & most effective exercise experience you can get!
