No, in 1898 the composition of matches was changed to remove white phosphorus and now uses phosphorus sesquisulfide which is non toxic.

Although it's non-toxic, I'm pretty sure it's not particularly "good for you" either and probably something you should avoid if you can.

It is not dangerous to inhale the fumes from a match in low quantity. But if you keep inhaling a lot of Fume it will injure your lung tissue.
