You should definitely not starve youself. That's the biggest mistake you can make.

The reason why you're probably not losing weight is because of all that working out and a non nutritious diet.
Even though the special k diet is good, it is lacking in nutrients. In order for your body to function properly, you need a wide range of foods and well balanced meals.
Try to get off the Special K diet....(because all it really consists of is cereal and protein water)
Eat some vegetables, lean protein and dairy. Don't forget your carbs!
You'll need them to cheer.
Try to have small portioned, well balanced meals,
.
Another reason why you're probably not losing weight is because of your exercising habits.
All that running and working out makes you gain muscle mass, which makes you put on a little weight.
So maybe you should switch up your workouts.....one day, you should run, and the next, you should go to the gym and do something other than the treadmill.

Another reason why you're probably not seeing results is because you simply don't need to lose weight.
It is harder for naturally skinny people to lose weight.

DONT STARVE yourself....your metabolism will get so messed up and you will probably be kicked off the cheer team because of your lack of energy.

Good Luck. Hopefully these tips will help.

P.S. That cheer team you speak of must be really messed up..if they accept people according to thier weight.

You want to burn more calories than you consume. Reduced intake, along with increased output is the key to losing weight.

Diet *AND* exercise are the key. Take up jogging with a good stretching routine before and after.

Eat less and Exercise more. I know it's like the standard answer but really that's what you have to do. Also check out http://www.mahalo.com/diets it's got a pretty exhaustive list of things to try. Remember to think of it less of a diet and more of a "lifestyle" change. If you treat it as a diet you'll just gain back the weight you lost when you go off of it.

Good Luck!

Eat a balanced diet, not too high in simple carbohydrates (sugars) or fats and exercise regularly, both cardiovascular and strength training. I suggest 5 days a week of 30-45 minute exercise, have to rest some so the body can recouperate, that's why the 2 days of rest spaced out during the week.

There's no choice in the matter, you *have* to change the way you're living. This means change your diet, I didn't say go on a diet, change it to include better foods and reduce the bad stuff like colas, chips, white breads, etc.

Secondly, you need exercise, this can be as simple as goign for a 30min walk each morning before going to work, etc.

This is a must for fast weight loss.
Yes, you can lose weight by just dieting.
Yes, you can lose weight by doing a cleanse.
Yes, you can lose weight by having an insane surgery.
But you will probably struggle with it. A cleanse will only get rid of waste weight. Dieting will help you to shed those pounds, but dieting alone is difficult to create the NEEDED consistent calorie deficit to lose weight fast.
Dieting alone won’t give you any shape and make you look sexy.
Dieting and cleansing alone won’t give you all the health benefits that you can have from adding exercise.

If you want to lose weight consistently, and still be able to enjoy try some cool sports that will sweat you a lot, jogging, and the best is go to a gym and get an instructor..
