I am not a doctor. This pain sound like a broken or fractured rib.
I recently fractured a rib while moving a dresser down the stairs and though my rib was fractured on the front side I experienced sharp pain in my lower ribcage with any sudden movement in my torso, ie coughing, sneezing, deep breathing, etc.
You can look for help here.

However I would recommend seeing a doctor.

It means that you should likely go to the doctor and get it checked out. Often if you have a muscle weakness in your back, a sudden movement such as a sneeze or cough can cause increased or sudden pain in your back (usually your lower back). If it is in your upper back it may in fact be related to your lungs, ribs and/or the sneeze itself. See your doctor. It is better to get something like this checked out early. http://www.webmd.com/back-pain/tc/low-back-pain-symptoms
