I am a Doctor. But this is only an answer to a question you asked in an open forum. So this answer does not inform you take my advice from this answer on any health related matter involving you or people you know. You should consult a doctor in person on all your (or people you know) health related problems.

The answer to your question is;

Exercise is a major stimulating factor for natural secretion of human growth hormone (hGH), but there is very little knowledge available about how this happens.
Researchers suggested human growth hormone (hGH) secretion may be triggered by exercise related increases in adrenaline, nitric oxide, blood lactate, acidity or nerve activity. these factor may work individually or together.

It's a well established fact that hGH levels are increased through exercise, but the actual mechanism is largely unknown. The latest information I'm aware of on the subject is that lactic acid (as from anaerobic exercise) is likely involved:
