From my previous answer to a similar question:
Once you have a migraine, the best treatment is oral triptan medicatons (Imitrex, Maxalt, and others). However, these medications do have side effects and are not recommended for patients at risk of a stroke or heart attack. Other, less effective medications include nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories (Motrin, Aleve, etc.), ergot derivatives (Cafergot, Migranal), antinausea medications, butalbital (Fioricet), and narcotic pain medications. Of these, only the nonsteroidals are available without a doctor's prescription.
See your doctor for evaluation and specific treatment options. There are medications available which can prevent migraines from occurring in the first place.
WARNING: Most migraines are painful but do no lasting damage. However, if you have any unusual neurological changes associated with a migraine (other than the usual aura, if any), CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY! A close family member with a history of migraines developed a migraine-like headache which turned out to be a stroke. Fortunately, a witness noticed neurological changes and called 911 in time for life-saving surgery.

I tell you what I have had migraines since I was a kid. My personal favorites to ease the pain are.
1. Ice packs on your head and neck or over your eyes.
2. Some vitamins and lots of water.
3. A nice quiet dark room.
4. A hot bath helps some times.
Give some of those a try but I guarantee if your playing on your cellphone or watching t.v. it doesn't hurt that bad.

I had to get a prescription migraine medication, even with that it takes a little while to work and sometimes the one dose doesn't work and you have to wait an hour and take a second! I started having migraines out of the blue, and they've gone away out of the blue, I'm not complaining but it certainly seemed hormone based for me. I would lie down in a dark, quiet room and try to nap. The over the counter Excedrin Migraine helps a small amount. Some people find that certain foods trigger migraines.
