How big is my Risk for any STD?
Hello everyone,
I would be thankful if you can answer the following questions:
Based on the following info, can you please access my risk for:
1. HIV, 2. HEP B, 3. HEP C, 4. HSV 2, 5. Gonorrhea, 6. Chlamydia, 7. Syphilis, 8. UTI, 9. Crabs, 10. HPV, 11. Molluscum Contagiosum, 12. PID, 13. Rectal Infections, 14. Trichomonas, 15. Warts, 16. Yeast Infection 17. Any other infection
-> Encounter 1 (Feb 14 2009): Protected Oral and Vaginal Sex with 1 girl with condom slip to half the length of penis. I may have got a bigger size condon. She tested negative on Feb 18 for HIV, Hep b/c, HSV 1/2, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and Syphilis but she could be in the window period.
-> Encounter 2 (March 7 2009): Steamy session involving Handjob, Finguring, Sucking Breasts (nippes), trying to masturbate with undergarments on. Her panties were wet and i see a possibility that my penis came in contact with vaginal fluids. Also she used the same hands for finguring the vagina and hands may have touched the top of penis many times. She gave me a lovebyte on cheek also.
My Symptoms:
Sore throat, Burning sensation on face, Irritation in stomach, Iching/Irritation in Penis, Frequent Urination (I feel like peeing all the time, After urination i feel little relaxed), Noticed a bad smell from penis for a few days after masturbation with some white/transparent stuff coming out before discharge, cough, fatigue, No Temperature.
I took a STD Panel test which involves these tests and waiting for results:
- HIV-1 proviral DNA by PCR, Confirmation of specific antibodies; RPR qualitative(TP-PA)
- Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Test
- Hepatitis B Surface Antigen
- Herpes Simplex Virus
- Syphilis Test
Can you please access my risk for all diseases listed above? Am i at risk for HIV and Hepititis? Am i at risk for any other STD? Any thoughts or suggestions on what does it indicate?
Can i rely on the results as its just 3 weeks from the 2nd encounter?
What other tests do you recomment?
Thank you very much.
John

I definitely think you should get an appointment with your doctor and describe ALL your symptoms and discuss your fears/concerns about STD's. A physical examination will be more useful than just a description of symptoms, especially for things like looking at your throat and at the bitemark on your face.
If you don't have a regular doctor and can't get in to see a regular doctor because of no insurance or whatever, go to Prompt Care or, as a last resort, the Emergency Room if your symptoms persist. Any infection can get dangerous if left long enough. But a regular Family Practice or Internal Medicine or General Medical Practice doctor's appointment (check the yellow pages) is a LOT cheaper than either Prompt Care or the ER if you end up having to pay out of pocket (although these days no medical care is cheap!).
Until your appointment, I recommend drinking LOTS of water (not soda and not cranberry juice cocktail).

Hey John, Any time your unprotected penis comes into contact with the fluids of an unprotected partner, be it vaginal or otherwise, you are at risk. Your symptoms indicate you may be at risk for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, at the very least. You are also at risk for HIV and the other STD's you listed since Encounter 2 included risky contact. You could also just have a viral infection of the throat (regular every day cold) and just a UTI (urinary tract infection) so waiting until the results get back will have to do. I hope your symptoms subside and you get off clean this time.

iamloved1's answer is right on. From personal experience, I remember a very (very) similar situation I went thru about 24 years ago. It was chlamydia. In fact your description of the symptoms brought back the memories. I would have (and I was) anxious 24 years ago, just like you are now. However, I would have told you, the first thing is take a deep breath, relax, because stress is not going to help the situation, in fact it will mae it worse.
Whatever your illness turns out to be, there's nothing you can do about it but go to a doctor, get some treatment. If in fact you have an std, then keep your cool and go about solving the issue. Best of luck.
