Has anyone ever tried taping your shins to help heal shin splints? If so how well does it work?

Wrapping the area with an elastic bandage can help relieve shin splints, but be careful not to overtighten the wrap (if your foot swells or becomes numb, it's too tight). Different people respond differently; you might get a great deal of relief, or wrapping might worsen the pain. Either way, it doesn't hurt to try. Use it as part of the standard RICE therapy (rest, ice, compression, elevation) for minor orthopedic injuries.
