Is it normal to have severe recurrent UTI's after a complete hysterectomy?
I am 44 and 7 years ago I had a complete hysterectomy. Since then I have suffered severe UTI's can you help me? The doctor poked holes in my blader in surgery and sewed it back and tied up my bladder. I have had all tests done on bladder and kidneys and can't find anything. Is it a hormonal thing? I tried changing my diet and nothing helps as time goes by I am getting them 1 a month. I am getting depressed and I am busy raising 4 kids PLEASE HELP!!! Thank-you.

In reading through the comments, it looks like doing Kegel Exercises may be one way to help strengthen your uterus and bladder. But, since I am not a doctor, I would recommend you consult your physician before starting any new exercise regimen.
