Your eyes are most likely stinging from the chlorine in the swimming pool. This may cause your eyes to be itchy, red and even feel like they are burning if they are exposed to chlorine. When you are done swimming you may want to put some eye drops in you eyes to wash out the chlorine. Regular tap water may also be used to clear out your eyes. Also avoid rubbing your eyes because this may cause blood vessels to break and it would make your eyes hurt more. Simply dab your eyes with a towel after rinsing them.
To prevent stinging eyes in the future avoid opening your eyes under water while swimming. Another thing you could do is to buy a pair of goggles which would keep the chlorine out of your eyes too.

Seems like your eyes are irritated by the chlorine in the water. Go to your nearest pharmacy and get some " Visine" eye drops or even better, while you are there ask your pharmacist if there something better than Visine. Hope you feel better soon!
