1. Get a FRESH pineapple. You can tell which pineapple is the best by gently pulling at the top. The looser, the sweeter. Pineapple is filled with vitamin C, more than oranges. This will help your immune system fight the cold.
2. If you are stuffy and congested, hot foods are the best. I always get a Chipotle burrito with any meat, rice, black beans, hot and mild salsa, and sour cream and cheese. However, any spicy food will help with any congestion. And in my family they believe the fire in the burrito will bring out the germs!
3. Sweat it out. I would recommend exercising in sweats. If you're not up to any physical activities, wrap yourself up in a blanket and sweat it out!
Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Chipolte. That always makes me feel better. I love that place. Drink lots of fluids and rest. Getting lots of rest is crucial. Drink 3 parts water and 1 part gatorade. You need electorlites, but gatorade has to much.
Or you could put a few dashes of salt with a 1 tablespoon of sugar in 8-16 ounces of water. Mix it so you dont taste any salt and to the point where its not really sweet (like gatorade).
Get a nose syringe and spray some of that in your nose/sinuses to clear out any particles.
This is what i do:
Drink lots of water and warm tea. Tea has antioxidants.
Get lots of rest
