There are no cures. There are many things you can do. To rule out anything really serious, you should be evaluated by a physician. The exam should include at least x-rays and may also include ct scan or mri.
Most physician's will at least recommend a course of physical therapy. Once you learn the therapy techniques, continue practicing them at home.
Most communities offer some type of exercise classes, include classes specifically designed to manage back pain. Pilates and yoga can both be of great help for core strengthening and range of motion.
