Warm up a bit of light olive oil and put a few drops in the ear. Massage you ear canal gently from the outside to work the oil in good. Stuff a bit of cotton in there to keep the oil in. I've also heard that directing a warm hair dryer down the ear canal will relieve an ear ache, but I've never tried it myself.

You can choose from these list of home remedies for ear infection:

1.Warmed onion juice and place 2-3 drops on the ear.
2. Juice extract of warmed tender mango leaves.
3. Place 1-2 drops of warmed olive oil
4. Warmed mustard oil with garlic. Place 4 drops on ear.

Earache is really painful. I use to rub vicks vaporub around the ear area , and take pain reliever just to ease the pain, if I cannot think of another remedy at that time.

White vinegar is a remedy for earache, will ease the pains associated with ear pains, swimmer's ear, or excess ear wax. Mix vinegar and water 50-50 then put a few drops in your ear.

"All of these can be the result of various irritants, and the vinegar can combat only a few specific causes of the pain; so be sure of what you're dealing with before using the remedy. Persistent pain should lead you to a doctor, but these home remedies are good for simple problems."

There is a video of another herbal home remedy, please watch.

Hope you feel better soon, if not, a doctor is a must to see.
