If you want to live in fear I guess it's okay. I'm a firm believer in if it is written, all the prevention in the world will not hold back. Think of it this way, there is one disease for which we will all never recover from. Could be any disease or old age, because we all die. Most of us know someone who drank, smoked excessively and ate everything in site, yet lived to 80's or 90 something. And healthy people who died of a massive heart attack or something.
I'm not saying turn your nose up to healthy living, I love keeping my immune system at the top of it's game, because I hate being sick. I think that's the key to health is maintaining my quality vitamin intake. Quality being the optimum word.
Be Well.
