I take omega 3 which is a fish oil and it is very safe and worth taking. My health is better, my blood sugars have improved, I have more energy, it helps with my anxiety, and even my hair is shinier. Make sure you don't take too much because your face may break out. We even give it to our dog and he has a shinier coat than he used to and seems to have more energy. BUT everyone is different and I'm not sure if I answered your question. If you could be a little bit more specific I may be able to help you more.
