I have had kidney stones. The doctors who treated me did not talk about cures for kidney stones, but they did stress the importance of increasing the amount of water that I was drinking. I had my first kidney stone at about 10 and the next at about 40. Since then I have passed a few more, but without the extreme pain of the first two. When I realize that I have a stone, I start drinking water like crazy and it passes. I know when it passes due to pain in the penis.
Bladder stones do not feel as painful in the body, except in the penis. I had surgery about a year ago for a bladder stone that I had not even realized I had until blood showed up in my urine.
According to my doctor, both kinds of stones are usually the result of a particle of some kind that get stuck and starts to accumulate additional sticky material. While I was having my operation, another guy was being operated on, too, but his was much worse because the stone had become attached to the lining.
