Are Hormone Replacement Therapy necessary even a woman is feeling normal , without the usual complaints of menopausal women?

We can always hear that women during menopause experiences a lot of mood swings, hot flushes, fatigue, etc. How about if a woman does not feel the above complaints, and seems normal as before her menopause ,does she need medications or this so called Hormone replacements?

Note: Always seek advice from your doctor if you are considering changing medication or stopping medication

From the articles and sites I've read the reason HRT is used is to alleviate the symptoms of menopause. If you don't have any of those symptoms then no, you don't need to take it. The bad effects from menopause are caused by the changing levels of hormones in the body, and HRT adds these back for the body so no more being uncomfortable.

There are a lot of reasons for and against HRT and I've included a article that goes into all these very clearly and simply.

I'm including a Q & A link as well just in case you have other questions about HRT or menopause.

Both sites and articles are unbiased because you will find a fair bit of information saying its either bad or good, its really an individual choice with you and your doctor.
