New Yorker article about doctor shelling out for drug companies

I remember skimming a New Yorker article recently (last 2 years) about a doctor who struggles with his role giving talks about drugs on the behalf of drug companies. I think one of the drugs was for a psychiatric condition.

I've heard good things about the article and was trying to track it down...

Thanks!

Eisenhower coined the term military industrial complex.
There is also the psycho-pharmaceutical complex, which is the establishment of psychiatrists working in conjunction with pharmaceutical companies in controlling and manipulating human behavior by pushing drugs. Yet, there is no clear evidence, in terms of blood tests, for any diagnosis in the DSM-IV!

Psychiatrists just sit around a table, conjure up a set of symptoms which don't seem to be "normal" and call it a disease! Except for rare instances of metabolic, hormonal, and genetic disorders having a clear identifiable defect, all psychiatric diagnoses are just collections of behaviors that those in power, ie the doctors and psychiatrists, don't like, behaviors which they and others in positions of power, feel uncomfortable about. A lot of mental illness is caused by the culture we live in, which suppresses emotion, and coerces us to do things we don't particularly wish to do, like work. When we are robbed of our autonomy and freedom, then we feel ill! All part of the "domination system"

I could not find the article, but hope this information helps!

It was unfair to choose no best answer
Both answers provided some good leads so that if the question were asked again, the actual article might turn up. I personally would have wanted to read this article, but could not find it. Also, the asker may have been mistaken that the article appeared in the New Yorker.
