I am a practioner of Qi Gong and I laugh, therefore I am very qualified to answer this ^_~

Seriously I think the most obvious thing that they have in common is improving menal wellness by lowering stress levels.

Reasearching this I found some interesting observations that would lend themselves to Cancer treatment.

I found this interesting "Qigong movements improve circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system, aiding the removal of waste and pathogens from the blood. " and "Breathing drills regulate blood pressure, heart rate, stress levels and temperament. As a result, your biochemistry becomes extremely operative. "

Laughter Therapy lists as one of its benefits "It strengthens your immune system."
