How To Scare Kids on Halloween
This is my favorite:
Step 1: Get a very large box, like one used to pack a dishwasher. Get it earlier in the year if hard to find, collapse it, and store it. Halloween night, hack off the flaps, flip it upside down, and cut a hole in the top just big enough to get your hand through.
Step 2: Get a cheap piece of cloth for a "table cloth," position it over and around the box, and cut a hole in the cloth to match the hole in the box.
Step 3: Get a big light, thin plastic bowl for the candy (remember, you can get all this stuff ahead of time, cheap) and cut a hole in the bottom. Same size as the one in the cloth and box. Just big enough for your wrist and hand.
Step 4: Sit under the box and stick your hand up through the aligned holes on the box and cloth. Have your accomplice place the bowl over your hand. Fill the bowl with candy, enough to cover your hand. Mixed candy is good, because trick-or-treaters, when told to pick what they want, eagerly begin to dig. First kid's hand into the bowl, reach up and grab the arm or wrist.
This is just too much fun for words. Worth the work!

• Great suggestion, and How to Scare Kids on Halloween is definitely a page we don't already have, so I'd say you're the winner!
Have to say, I'm kind of glad no one did this to me when I was a kid. Sounds traumatic! Although maybe it would have ruined candy for me, which could only have helped my waistline...hmm...

I'd say go request them, and then leave them here as a comment! It will help give other people ideas.
Also, you should DEFINITELY rent ''Nightmare Before Christmas''. One of my all-time favorite animated films.

I already requested a page for Vampire Week. It's the week before Halloween, when everyone wears fangs to work, school, etc... for the whole week. It's really fun! :D I also loved The Nightmare before Christmas too! It's so cool and scary in a sick kind of way.

I just requested Halloween Games Online. My kids play a bunch of them during this time of year and it is amazing how many there really are for the very young and the adults as well. My favorite is Halloween hangman...he just cracks me up. Halloween Hangman

In the category of homemade Halloween costumes I would suggest to require a "how to make a loo (WC) Halloween costume" - Just saw nice pic of such a costume somewhere on the Web but don't remember the page. Anyway, the directions weren't added to the costume.

Come now. It would have taken a lot more than THAT to ruin candy! You're made of sterner stuff!
