your pic didn't load for me.
i googled "new pepsi bottles" and found some pics with at least three different fonts
for the pepsi and diet pepsi i found
identifont.com is a great resource, after limiting the letters to dietpsmax and answering about 20 questions, they narrowed it down to 30 fonts.
none of the fonts i looked at had the x seen in "pepsi max"
Bryant seems the closest,
http://www.identifont.com/show?9IF
Century Gothic
http://www.identifont.com/show?1N2
is pretty close too as was:
Futura

What is the font used in the new Pepsi branding?
Can anyone tell me the typeface used for the new Pepsi branding (shown at http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/pepsi_new_bottles.php) It's very possible it is a custom typeface by whomever designed it, but if not, I'd love to find it.

• Thanks for the thoughtful answer! I liked the identifont site, and really like the Bryant Pro font.

I'm pretty sure you're right that the font is custom. The "p"s are in the style of ITC Bauhaus except the loop is connected to the stem (whereas in Bauhaus there's a gap), but the "s" doesn't match Bauhaus's angular "s" at all, and the "e" is obviously custom-designed to mirror the old Pepsi "globe." I'm not 100% certain, but I would be surprised if you found a close match to the new typeface.

I am guessing it is a custom font that Omnicom's Arnell Group came up with. Contact them if you want the true answer. http://www.omnicomgroup.com/ContactUs
