What is a good website for a graphic designer to find freelance projects
Friend of mine is a very good Graphic Artist I'd like to find him some freelance websites similar to www.logotournament.com

First of all get your friend to set up a Coroflot account (http://www.coroflot.com/) and a blog (http://www.wordpress.com or http://www.blogger.com). Put some of his work on there and people will come to him.
However, I would recommend strongly that he creates his own portfolio and a website. Look here for how to create a good one:

several friends nor I have had any luck with online sources to sell freelance graphic design. It is better to show your work locally and procure jobs like that! You can sell pieces of your work at stock photo sites:
