Postcards Have Advantages!
The Message is immediate. A full-color postcard stands out from the rest of someone's daily collection of bills and over-sized, hard-to-handle fliers. It is easy to read, easy to handle, and the visual message is right there is the recipient's hands.
A Postcard is cost effective. Compared to many other forms of advertising, particularly direct mail advertising, the postcard has proven over and over to be a cost effective way of getting your message directly into the hands of those you are trying to reach.
There is no envelope issue. Anyone who has any experience in direct mail knows the challenge of just making sure the recipient opens the envelope! An intriguing, colorful postcard has someone's attention instantly.
Size Does Matter! Because a postcard has limited space, the message must be concise and uncomplicated - all the better to communicate with the recipient, who is fairly unlikely to read through a long letter or fineprint-filled flier.
You know who actually receives it. Are you trying to rely on e-mail to get your communication out? Do you actually know who even opens the e-mail you send, or whose SPAM protector never allows it in the first place?!? With a postcard, you know someone has to see the message you send.
A Word to the Wise...
"Humor is mankind's greatest blessing." Mark Twain said it best. People like to be entertained, or at least intrigued. When you use the trivia option of the Marketing With Trivia program, you can reach your audience with a little laugh or interesting tidbit to lighten the day - and create a lasting impression of the messenger! Full color postcards captivate the eye - and sell, sell, sell!

1. Scratch offs
2. *'s that lead to nothing
3. Having to look twice to see what the ad is about in the first place
When I look at your mailer, I want to see exactly what you offer and how I need to take action. So maybe offer a few tips on what I can do today to better the Earth and why I should commute.
And please remember, first time mailers generally have low success rates. It'll more than likely take a few rounds to get the numbers you are looking for.
Wish you the best of luck with your venture!

Of all the junk mail you get, what mailer designs have caught your eye?How should I design a transit mailer?
I am providing wifi service on a few of our local transit buses. In order to grow the project, I am setting up an ad/coupon program for local businesses.
I need to design a simple mailer or flyer that easily and effectively catches a readers attention.
How would you design a mailer/flyer for this project?
Examples would be very helpful.

While I'm not a pro at graphic design, I'll tell you what makes me throw mailers straight in the trash. 1. Scratch offs
