Others will provide the technical details on how to correct your slice (hint: stop swinging your club "inside-out"). However, if you are serious about improving your golf swing / golf game, you should seek instruction from a qualified professional (your local club pro suffices) and then practice... practice... practice. When you are done, practice some more.

A consistent golf game is all about muscle memory, and if you don't correct the problem and then play regularly, you will never overcome the slice.

If you cannot make the commitment to playing often (necessary in order to have a great game), then the best advice is to learn to play with what God gave you. The game's a lot more fun if you simply play your slice; close the club face and aim a bit to the left. Swing away and have a good time!

Well, Jeff, as a person who used to golf a lot(not so much anymore; Coincidently, I'm actually a semi-pro DISC golfer), I would say, try not to draw your arms inward before contact. Since the downward swinging motion, and gravity summons the propensity to create movement that puts that clockwise outward spin on the ball, that's what tends to happen. I think it also progressively develops, especially when a player thinks with eager intentions to hit zealously more inside, and instead of correction, one hits the ball with more than less, a "diagonal chop." Try to keep your upper arms moving only forward more, by the dictation of your shoulders, and rotate your deltoids ever so slightly forward and up. Just don't let your arms. Beyond that, I would say to also try to keep your wrists aligned straight respectfully. I am not a master of golf by any means, really, but I've shot my share of "Paresk" rounds. Hope I explained something right here.

I shot over 70 rounds in the summer of '99' (back when I got the substantial "Junior" discount) and have pondered in the topic of human anatomical physics. I also had a subscription to golf magazine one year(birthday present from my dad), so I read that, and I have shot my fair share of birdies over the years. http://www.mahalo.com/member/Pensivefox

One of the easiest ways to stop a slice, but not cure it is to angle your stance, so when it slices, it will drop into the middle of the fairway.
