The Fibromyalgia Network (www.fmnetnews.com) and the National Fibromyalgia Association both have excellent resources, including forums and groups, where you can find information and support. In particular, read NFA's section for newly diagnosed patients, as it has a lengthy discussion on the importance of exercise and diet, analgesics and opoids, and more. Most importantly, connect with people who have been there and done that. They're among your best source of information. As always, consult with your physician before beginning any exercise, diet, or medication.
