The fastest growing plant on earth is kelp. The giant kelp can grow up to 2 feet per day and reach lengths over 100 feet - there are giant kelp forests off the coast of California

Yes, that's right, guys. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on earth. It has been reported that it can grow nearly 4 feet in a single day. And reach the height of 100 feet in just one month. It is a member of the grass family, but the Bamboo has a woody stem. And you must have seen a bamboo if you've see a panda in the wild or in a zoo.
