Joke answer: Put the camembert and pâté on the other side of your yard.
Real answer: I have a huge garden, and keeping pests out has been a war second only to thermoneuclear armageddon.
Try to reinforce your barriers - attach some hardware cloth to the perimeter of the existing fence at the ground level. Then use a solar-powered electric fence at the top of this border. If they climb the wire cloth, they'll get zapped by the electric fence. It's a mild shock, it shouldn't do more than stun them. This is what i've done at home, and it keeps the deer & rabbits out.
Poisons will reduce the population in general. Please don't do this!

How to get rid of frogs in a pool?
We live near a stream and a wooded area...about 25-50 yards from our pool. WE are constantly fishing out frogs and it is getting quite annoying...I have tried everything from screening in the pool fence to spreading snake repellent around. Any advice would be helpful....

We get 6-7 newcomers a day...believe me, it is hard to swim with frogs in the pool. Especially for the wife and kids. :-) As for the snake...well yeah...that wont work. We did try rubber snakes...worked for a few days but then they figured it out.

I dont use poison...just repellent....
I will try your idea and see what we come up with. Any ideas on where to buy the electrical/solar powered fence thingie?
I got mine at Tractor Supply (like Home Depot for farmers. they also have hardware cloth, and they offer shipping too...) It was about $100 for the solar charger, and another $50 or for all the supplies, but it will last forever. you can put it up in a couple hours. www.tractorsupply.com/
Here's what we did, for the deer/rabbit fence.
5 ft high welded wire
6 ft high fence posts
3 ft high chicken wire
(frogs could get thru chicken wire, so i suggested hardware cloth for you)
(also, i have it folded so 1ft is along the ground, covered in rocks, to preven them digging through, and the other 2 ft are tied up against the welded wire fencing)
then you need to get electric fence wire, the insulators (yellow plastic thingies) the fence pieces and the power supply.
dude, this has been a lot of info for a quarter! ;-P
