Summer camp sure has changed since I was a kid. The again I never went to summer camp in Maine. I think this kid has boy band written all over his future.

I usually don't get too offended by songs but I did actually think it was offensive when I heard this on the radio. Helen Keller has always been a hero to me because of all that she overcame and how she went on to be so successful. She accomplished what most of us would deem impossible. So I did think it was poor taste to make fun of her in that way. But I understand that we should not take things personally. That was just my reaction to it.

I gotta say I somewhat agree. I usually take things pretty lightly and don't get offended very easily... I wouldn't say this is particularly offensive maybe, but it's certainly not very respectful. Though I really don't think they mean anything offensive by it!
