What is the best way to ask someone to follow you on twitter?

Follow that person... then you can drop a message saying if he/she could follow you too. You can do this by adding @ sign right before the username.

For instance, me, I'll drop a message on your twitter, for example your twitter username niftymarketing, to be able to leave a message for you, just add @ to that username...

@niftymarketing Hi there! :D Hope you can follow me on twitter too... thanks a lot. :)

There you go. ^^ I hope that the person you're talking about will follow you pretty soon! ^^
