Next Question
I asked this same question here a while ago and got a few good answers.
However, here's what I use on all of mine and also what my ink artist receommends:
When you first get inked up - say, the first three or four days, use A&D ointment (any drugstore for like $4 - $6 bucks). Then switch to a non-scented lotion, I use Lubriderm, till it's totally healed or when it itches.
Speaking of itching, it's a good thing - but DON'T SCRATCH!! Slap it (I know it sounds strange) but man, it feels sooooo much better.
Have fun, and I hope it looks great!!

Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy Daily Replenishing Lotion is also a great product to aid in tattoo healing. It's also fragrance free (like the Aquaphor) which is very important.

I recommend a product called Aquaphor that you can buy it most drugstores for around $6. It's great because it keeps your skin moisturized (which is super important for tattooed skin) in addition to its healing effects. This makes it better than Neosporin and the like. http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100951&navAction=jump&navCount=0&nug=VPD&skuid=sku314801&id=prod14801
