The answer depends upon the degree of productivity, but a good price for (almost) any well-done app is between $1.99 and $5.99 but anything above 5 dollars should be pretty well done.
Of course, shoddy apps are better suited for 99 cents, and anything *really* useful and well done could go as high as $9.99.
I would think that the optimum price for selling a good app is about $4.99 because that's about the limit of when people start to think a little more about how much they really need that app.

What do you mean by "productivity?" That term is vague...
Still vague.
What, precisely, does your app actually DO?

The best price to set depends on what exactly it does, how well it does it, and also on what competing apps are available and how much they cost.
Also you might want to think about making a free "light" version available for people to try, or you might want to offer it free for a limited period so as to build up a user base and get a reasonable number of reviews.
I'm sure you know as well as I do that the range of prices for productivity apps in the app store is mostly from $0 up to $10, with most of them being at the lower end.
A good strategy might be to offer it free for a short period, and see what the reviews say. If people are wowed, charge accordingly, if they are not enthusiastic, you'd better be at the lower end.
If you want to discuss this further confidentially, ask me a private question.
