I have given up stress for lent.
I went out yesterday and had my favorite toasted sub (not allowed on my diet for my metabolic disorder) and a large Maggie Moo's ice cream. I figured it was Fat Tuesday. :-)
I'm giving up, again, sugars, grains, and high-glycemic vegetables and fruits. I get to keep meats, dairy (except milk) and many vegetables, so it's not all bad. I have a hard time resisting all the Girl Scout Cookies in the house, though.
