Nothing really happened to Outkast. They still exist, they haven't broken up as a band as many have believed, yet they have decided to go their separate ways. Outkast was made up of rappers André "André 3000" an Atlanta native AKA Andre Benjamin (formerly known as Dré) and Savannah, Georgia-born Antwan "Big Boi" Patton. They have created their separate albums after they made some of their biggest hits together, and their last album Idlewild in 2006. They are also working on solo albums. They've also announced that they are working on another album and both have taken on careers in acting. Recently Big Boi was in Smokin' Aces and Andre 3000 was in Semi Pro. Andre 3000 was recently featured in John Legend's "Greenlight" song. Check out the video of the interview with Andre 3000 and the video of Andre 3000 in "Greenlight" below. In Andre 3000's latest interview, he was asked, "Are you done rapping," and his answer was "no, no, I do whatever I can do." I believe they live in New York, Atlanta, or Los Angeles.
