From Greek ‘I have found it’, said to have been uttered by Archimedes when he hit upon a method of determiming the purity of gold.
Hēurēka is the 1st person singular perfect indicative active of the Greek verb heuriskein,6 (Greek εὑρίσκειν) meaning "to find"; it means "I have found it", or more literally, "I am in a state of having found it".

Eureka is a Greek word means "I have found it" and also an exclamation used as an interjection to celebrate a discovery.
