Back when I was a kid, I wanted to be a pilot. Until now I still want to pursue that dream... I'm not the type who gives up on things. I know someday I could fly a plane as well! ^^ I'm just 21... there are lots of things and changes that could happen in my life that could lead on me being a pilot.
Weird eh? Most girls school mate I have before prefer being a teacher or a nurse while I wanted something like that. XD

Then when I was little more older, I wanted to be a teacher. My mom was getting great respect from my friends and the neighbors as a teacher. So I wanted to be one.
In my teen years, I was amazed by the novels and poetry. The world of words intrigued me so much that I wanted to be an author. I started writing poetry and my friends thought my writings were cool.
Here I am...Not thinking much about what I want to become.Happy with the little pleasures of the life!!!

I want to be rich and famous like Mark Cuban or Mikhail Prokhorov, both billionaires who own an NBA franchise. Not sure which one, but I'm leaning towards the Cavs, when LeBron James is a league veteran 7 years from now, and has hopefully won a few championships. So, that's just one of the reasons why it would be nice to be a billionaire, to become an owner of an NBA team, but there are many other benefits below. That's why I manage the how-to article on How To Become A Billionaire. I've got the mindset of a billionaire.
The other benefit of being a billionaire is that you won't have to worry about splurging at times, you can go out to a restaurant and buy the most expensive item on the menu, and not feel guilty about it, or drive around in the latest Tesla car, and power your home with solar powered panels. You can even get a chef to cook for you once a week, an assistant, and someone to do your laundry regularly. Not saying I need all this now, but it wouldn't be so bad to be a billionaire.
On top of this, it would be cool to get a chance on the Forbes 400, and get all sorts of entrepreneurs pitching me cool ideas I could invest in, and say that I would be able to consider investing in them as an angel investor.
On top of all this, when you are a billionaire, you can travel around the world, stay in some of the nicest luxury resorts, get guided tours, and you will know you are wealthy, because the magazine says you are.
Lastly, but not least, you can give back and have a lot of people honor you because you gave to a good cause. Bill Gates is a billionaire, but he has also given back to a lot of good causes.

1. Philosophical Answer: I want to become a better human being than I am now, when I grow up. But my heart should be as youthful as it is now.
2. Practical & Truthful Answer: I want to be a billionaire when I grow up, so that I can serve my nation more efficiently, and at the same time live a happy life. Truly speaking, it is money that makes almost every dream come true. You can help others better if you have money.

Or I would like to be anything involving pets. I love animals and would like to study more about them. I am fascinated in how they live and how they do things. I have two dogs and used to have some goldfish and a cat. I love wild animals. I wish they wouldn't be afraid of me so I could study them and be with them.
That is what I want to be when I grow up.

People always have dreams when they are little. Some want to grow up successful while others are content sitting on the sidelines helping from the shadows. It is not important what you become when you grow up as long as the grown up inside you is happy and the kid inside still gets to play.
Growing up is a side affect of social critics telling us what is successful and what behaviors are expected at each stage of development.
Stop for a second and think of the wonderful things you can do every day to improve your situation or that of someone around you. If you take the time to do something you want or help someone else fulfill a dream, at the end, you will be able to say, I wouldn't change a thing.
Yeah, it would be nice to own a major company with all kinds of money and employees to keep things running.....but what is the cost? Time away from family and friends? Dying before you get to have fun with all the money? Nah...some corporate guru can have that....I want to be what I am right now, happy and content with my life and knowing each night when I lay my head down that I did a good job.

My answer now would be that I hope I never really 'Grow Up.' But when I was a kid I wanted to be the First Female president, and then a lawyer (cause most presidents start as lawyers) and then the slightly less lofty job as a judge. I've always had an intense sense of justice. (which means I would have been an ok lawyer and a bad president apparently. Oh I'm so jaded now!) Why didn't I ever wanna be a super hero.... That would've made perfect sense...

When I was in 3rd grade, I wanted to be a writer, which I don't mind writing, but very few writers other than J.K. Rowling become billionaires. So, I am kind of going to go off on a limb here, and not say the normal profession, but what I want to be in 5 to 10 years is a billionaire. I will be 50 next year and still suffer from a Peter Pan complex. My kids are always telling me to grow up. I find that to be a problem because the grown ups forget how to live sometimes. When was the last time you went outside after a warm summer rain and splashed in the puddles or raked up the leaves just to jump in them? How about the last snowball fight you had or the last snowman you built? When was the last water fight you got into and who started it? In my house that is an easy question...ME! I can clear a room in 30 seconds by uttering the phrase, I'm bored. Yet they always come back to see what new adventure I might take them on. People always have dreams when they are little. Some want to grow up successful while others are content sitting on the sidelines helping from the shadows. It is not important what you become when you grow up as long as the grown up inside you is happy and the kid inside still gets to play.
