Ohhhhh no. Not going to catch me this time. They drink mil... I mean water of course. (But I imagine they drink whatever you give them to drink, they are called cows for a reason)

But in all honesty, most cows are given plain water, with nutritious fortification supplied via food pellets. Though some will have you believe that a percentage of cow farmers spike their cow's water troughs with a concoction of hormones and the baby calves' powdered milk.

I doubt it...
Here's an article on how much water to give to cows, but nowhere does it indicate special water.

Yeah - think about the wild. What would cows in the wild have to drink other than water? Nothing, that's what.

serious note: This site states that there are ways to treat water for cows that will improve milk production.
http://www.essentialwater.net/support-information/water-treatment-often-improves-milk-production
In this pdf file, the same treatment of: chlorine, UV light and reverse osmosis, is mentioned to improve milk quality.
(sorry about my faucet joke!)
