Given that the Subaru has the lower MSRP and GM is currently in uncertain times - the dealership nearest us went out of business recently after 30 years - I'd suggest the Subaru.
Whichever you choose, enjoy your new ride!

Without being "Subaru fans", we've owned 3 and loved every one. We currently have a Baja that is fun and reliable, and neighbors have an Outback and love it. I've owned a low end Subaru compact and a Subara XT coupe - loved them both Given that the Subaru has the lower MSRP and GM is currently in uncertain times - the dealership nearest us went out of business recently after 30 years - I'd suggest the Subaru.
Whichever you choose, enjoy your new ride!
