I've always enjoyed giving people something to remind them of their childhood, but not exactly the same Christmas things. For books, I tend to go with comic collections, especially if you can get the seasonal editions. As a child of the 80's, I of course grew up with Calvin and Hobbes. So whenever a friend has not read Snow Goons, I go find them a copy.
And Watterson IS classic.

If I don't have that book already, I think I might get it.
