what are people's experience with using Lulu.com?

I have used Lulu to publish a book, but I haven't tried making a CD or one of the other services they offer. It really is very simple and easy, like they advertise. It is very inexpensive to make a book (less than buying one, even). There's really not much else to say about it besides the fact that it's a great website that's very easy to use. If you have an idea for a book then I'd say go for it. You probably won't run into any complications through Lulu.

Hey js10,

Personally I hate Lulu.com, because it is difficult to upload anything on to it. I prefer the other alternative software - Blurb.com (http://www.blurb.com), this allows you to enter your own pictures and texts into a pre-made template book. It is free to download and you can upload books to the Blurb committee and get money from whatever price you set the book.
