I would go for the Gecko.
He's got a cool demeanor.
The duck on the other hand, is just annoying and reminds me of Ben Aflec which annoys me even more.

The gecko's accent is much less grating than the duck's catchphrase. I vote gecko.

I have a personal connection with geckos (mo'o in Hawaiian). They've been around me all my life.
