As for whether Jon cheated or not, we do not know. What we do know:

On April 18 at around 2AM, Jon Gosselin was photographed leaving Legends Bar with an unidentified female and then leaving with her.
During this time, his wife, Kate was on a trip to promote her newest book.

Jon stated that the incident was completely innocent and the woman is only a friend. However, Jon also said the incident "showed poor judgment" on his part. A bouncer at the bar has even come to his defense saying that Jon and his lady-friend seemed like casual friends and there seemed to be nothing romantic going on. He also said that Jon always wears his wedding band and talks about his family.

Personally, I think Jon seems like an upstanding guy who cares about his family. Maybe he just wanted a night out to wind-down while his wife was out of town. I find that completely understandable. I feel bad for him, but he chose to be in the public eye.
