Is using an electric razor easier on the skin than a traditional razor?

I've used both, and I'd prefer to call it 'different'. For me, an electric razor just doesn't work good enough. It irritates my skin (it gets red), and it is just not as smooth as I want it to be.
So, I switched over to a more traditional razor, in this case a Gillette. For me, that works many times better, and I never ever cut myself.
(Oh, don't forget to check out the Gillette Coupons page here at mahalo to find cheap blades!)

• I'm going to test out the electric razor, but if I go back to a traditional I'll keep your tips in mind! Thanks

Thanks. I tried Gillette and liked it, but on the 4th shave the razor started irritating my skin. If I used it again, I'd have to change razor head's frequently. How much do they cost on average? (I have the Gillette Fusion if that makes any difference)

Four times is pretty soon for a blade to run out. Are you using a gel or something? I use a Mach 3 in combination with Shaving Gel for Sensitive skin.
Also, a great tip is to shave when in the shower.
With this combined, I replace my blade once a month tops, usually less.
Gillette blades are pretty expensive, up to $2 per blade. But, if you check out the Gillette Coupons page I mentioned, you can find them for about $1 per blade.

I hope this helps.
