Honestly, I think it's pretty even. However, PS3 slightly edges out the 360. Playstation used to have a ton of exclusive games making it more desirable. Now they really only have God of War and the next one they make will be the last in that series. Infamous is also showing promise.

PS3 also has a blu-ray player but you pay so much extra for the system that it's no different than buying a separate blu-ray player.

The biggest thing that leans some people in favor of PS3 is the fact that the graphics are slightly better and the online gameplay is free.

With that being said, I'm totally happy with my 360.

No doubt! The PS3 is way more powerful and blue-ray. It has like 7 cores, compared to the X-box's 2 or 3. And the online play is free!

I think there are more 360 users than ps3. everyone i know has a 360, which makes me tend to look at those before i would look at purchasing a ps3. It really just comes down to the one who more of your friends own. If all of my friends had a ps3 i would get that, but if all my friends has a 360 then id go for that one.

ps3 is definitely more powerful and blue ray is a nice feature.

If the online feature is not of any value, then id chose based on the types of games released for each.

i have never played on a 360, so my perspective is biased, but the PS3 seems to me the better investment.
it has/works with:
ps3 games and some ps2 games
blue-ray
free gaming online
storage for photos, movies, music
internet capable beyond just gaming
offers remote play for psp
and of course the graphics are the best
