Here's a list of famous Filipino athletes. Personally, I don't know the answer to your question, but as a sports fan I've never heard of anyone on the list besides Pacquiao and Pancho Villa, so I would guess the answer is yes. Of course, I could be wrong about the athletes, and furthermore the list may not be complete.
