Think about something you always enjoyed doing all through your life and pursue something you maybe never thought you could do.

Otherwise: I'd suggest writing a book. it is low-key but keeps your mind active.

For an active hobby: try golf. It's always fun and rewarding.

Volunteering in your community is always a way to feel your hours, and will find a sense of accomplishment and purpose in your retirement. There are a lot of sites where you can find things to fill your hours, this is only one site:

http://www.volunteermatch.org/

Enjoy... I am sure you can find something that you will enjoy becoming involved with.
